Short answer: fantasy football gets the attention, but fantasy basketball, baseball and hockey leagues crown champions too, and the trophy format is identical. Same four lines, different sport and different month.
When each season actually ends
- Fantasy football: championship week is mid to late December. Trophies get ordered late December through January.
- Fantasy basketball: most leagues finish in April, right before the NBA playoffs.
- Fantasy hockey: also April, for the same reason.
- Fantasy baseball: late September, and the trophy orders trickle in through October.
Between them, there is a fantasy champion being crowned in most months of the year. We have engraved plates reading "24/25 NBA FANTASY CHAMPIONS" in May and "FANTASY BASEBALL CHAMPION (AGAIN!)" in August.
What to engrave
Same four line format that works for football. League name, team name, the title, the season. For sports whose season crosses two calendar years, use the split format: "2026-27" or "24/25". Real examples off our plates:
