Are these dishwasher safe?

Hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish and the engraving on all powder-coated tumblers. The leatherette-wrapped models in particular should always be hand washed. The engraving itself is permanent — it's bare metal — but the powder coat and leatherette respond better to hand washing over time.

Is the engraving the same as what's shown in the product photos?
