Q: Will the engraving fade or peel?
A: No. Our laser engraving is permanent. The CO2 laser ablates the black coating on the brass plate, revealing the polished gold beneath. It will not fade, chip, peel, or scratch off.

Q: Can I see a proof before you engrave it?
A: Yes. We send a digital proof for your approval before any engraving begins. You can request changes until it is exactly right.

Q: How many characters can the recipient name be?
A: Up to 20 characters works beautifully. Longer names still fit but will scale slightly smaller. If you have a long full name or hyphenated name, message us and we will preview it for you.

Q: Can I use a different role word like "Stepmom" or "Bonus Mom"?
A: Absolutely. Any title that fits within 12 characters works — Mom, Mama, Mommy, Mother, Mama Bear, Stepmom, Bonus Mom, Grandma, Nana, Mimi, Gigi, and many more.

Q: Can this be a memorial / in-loving-memory plaque?

Q: Will it ship in time for Mother's Day?
A: Orders placed by May 7 ship in time for Sunday May 10 with our standard 2-3 day production plus Priority Mail. Order earlier if you need it sooner.
